With so many options out there for putting together a Home Theater PC we’d really like to highlight what people are actually building and using in the community.
If you’ve put together a HTPC, write a comment below telling us about it and if it sounds cool we’ll blog and twitter about it.
You should probably include:
1. Mainboard / Processor / RAM / Case
2. Type of output to TV (HDMI, DVI, VGA)?
3. Operating System
4. Media System (Plex, XMBC, Hackintosh)
5. Control mechanisms (IR keyboard, Bluetooth, hidden wires)
6. Links to Pictures if you have them
Thanks! We look forward to seeing all your awesome creations.

This isn’t a conventional HTPC; rather it’s a TV-connected PC primarily intended to use with Hulu, YouTube, etc. as well as photo shows.

Typically don’t use media system sw–if I do it’s Media Center
I’ve actually found Irfranview the best way to do a photo slide show

Gordon,
Does this machine do well with handling video and if so what is the best resolution?
